Live From Tokyo - $24.99

In 1996, the government of Japan invited Elvis Jr. to perform in their beautiful, mystical country. It was a major concert tour launched by one of Japan's foremost concert promoters, Min-On Concert Association. The whirlwind tour took Jr. to 18 major cities in 18 nights where he played to capacity crowds. By all standards the crowds, which in Japan are traditionally subdued, were very excited and demonstrative.

The concert captured on this DVD took place in the great city of Tokyo. While there are many special moments during this performance, one of the highlights is Elvis Jr. singing in Japanese the hit song 'Rodo' which translates to 'Road'. In a nearly 2 hour performance, backed by the fabulous East Coast Connection under the musical direction of Mr. Terry Walsh, Jr. plays a variety of songs that will transport you back in time.

Although Elvis' dream of performing outside the United States never came to fruition, Jr. has performed in 18 countries and 6 islands paying tribute to his father. The 1996 tour was so successful that he was invited to tour again in Japan in 1997. This was also captured on DVD and will be released in the future.
